Which program fits where you are?

There's no shortage of free help out there — webinars, workshops, a little free consulting, endless content online. At some point you outgrow it. You want something deeper, built around you, with a group of people who know your business, have your back, and hold you accountable — and a coach in your corner. That's what these are. Here's how to find the one that fits you right now.

Find your best fit — tap the one that sounds like you

Tap the one closest to you and we'll jump you straight to it. They're not either/or, and the last word is always a conversation, not a page.

Five ways to go deeper. Each one is a room of people doing the real work — facilitated personally, applied directly to your business, and priced to the value it creates.

Your best fit

Develop the owner · getting started

Accelerator Board

You're building the foundation.

Best fit if: you own a smaller or younger business, you've outgrown the free resources, and you're ready for structure and a room of fellow owners.

12 months Monthly 3–4-hr board Peer group of owners
  • The fundamentals that keep a business alive — a real plan, your true numbers, and where you're headed
  • You put each one to work in your business the same month — not just learn it
  • A room of fellow owners who hold you accountable and cheer you on

The most accessible way in — real structure and peers at a starting-out budget, and you graduate with a certificate.

Ongoing membership Monthly four-hour board Private 1:1 coaching
  • A standing board of owners who aren't your competitors, so you can be fully open — decades of hard-won experience in the room
  • Monthly one-on-one coaching built around where you're trying to take the business
  • Owners stay for years by choice — a 5-year average, no contract

Develop your people · succession

Key Executive Board

You're developing a successor — or going deep yourself.

Best fit if: you have a second-in-command or successor you're developing to run the whole business — or you're the owner who wants to master it deliberately, going deeper than counsel alone.

24 months Monthly board For your successor
  • Year 1 — how to actually run the business: the plan, the money, the priorities
  • Year 2 — how to lead people: communication, handling conflict, negotiation, building a team
  • A board of other senior leaders working alongside them, plus progress updates to you

The deepest path — it builds a leader who can run the business without you in the room.

HI-MAP

You want to sharpen your managers.

Best fit if: you have managers or supervisors you want to turn into real leaders — better at communicating, coaching, and leading their teams.

4 Paths · 16 sessions In-person or virtual Group coaching
  • The skills managers are rarely taught: communicating, coaching, hiring and keeping good people, handling conflict
  • Group coaching, not a lecture — they practice each skill together and build the muscle, session by session
  • They apply it at work between sessions until it sticks — and finish with a certificate

Group coaching that builds real skill — turning the managers who run your day-to-day into leaders you can rely on.

Questions

Choosing between the programs

The questions owners ask most when they're deciding which room is theirs.

How do I choose the right TAB Northwest Arkansas program? +

Start with who you're developing and where your business is. Building your own foundation? The Accelerator Board. Established and want ongoing counsel plus coaching? A Peer Advisory Board. Developing a successor, or going deep as an owner? The Key Executive Board. Sharpening your managers or aligning your leadership team? HI-MAP or StratPro. The selector at the top of this page points you to a best fit in one tap — and the last word is always a conversation, not a page.

What's the difference between the Accelerator Board and a peer advisory board? +

The Accelerator Board is a 12-month program that's part course, part board — you learn the operating fundamentals and apply them in your business, with a defined finish and a graduation. A Peer Advisory Board is the ongoing room established owners stay in for years: strategic counsel and accountability with no set end. Many owners build their foundation in the Accelerator, then graduate into a peer board.

What's the difference between HI-MAP and the Key Executive Board? +

HI-MAP is shorter, modular skills-training for managers and emerging leaders — practical leadership and people skills. The Key Executive Board is a longer, comprehensive two-year board that develops a true successor (or an owner) in full business acumen and leadership mastery. They can also be done in sequence.

Can I be in more than one program at the same time? +

Yes, and many businesses are. An owner might sit in a peer board while their successor is in the Key Executive Board, or while their managers go through HI-MAP and their leadership team runs StratPro. The programs are designed to complement each other, not compete.

Which program should I start with? +

It depends on your stage. If you're still building the fundamentals, start with the Accelerator Board. If you're an established owner, a Peer Advisory Board is your home base. From there you add the program that fits your team or your successor. We'll map the right starting point on a fit call.

How much do the programs cost? +

Investment is scoped to your business, your team, and what you want to accomplish — so it's shared on a fit call rather than published here. You'll get a straight answer on both fit and cost in that conversation, with no pressure.

Am I locked into a contract? +

No — none of the programs lock you into a contract. All we ever ask is 30 days' notice, and you're free to step away from any program if it stops serving you. Some programs run a planned length — the Accelerator is 12 months, the Key Executive Board two years — but that's the shape of the journey, not a lock-in; you can discontinue whenever you choose.

What is a peer advisory board? +

A small group of business owners from non-competing companies who meet regularly, with a facilitator, to work on each other's real challenges and hold one another accountable. You get honest outside perspective from people who've faced what you're facing — without the isolation of deciding everything alone.

What is the business diagnostic? +

The business diagnostic is a comprehensive look at your business — across roughly two dozen categories. Most owners start where it counts most (finance, marketing, sales, customer service, time management), and it can go much wider, with versions built for nonprofits, businesses doing international or bid work, and more. What it surfaces shapes the foundation for where you focus next — so your plan is built on a real read of your business, not a generic checklist.

What are DISC and Driving Forces? +

Two short assessments that show how you're wired — how you naturally communicate and make decisions, and what actually motivates you. Every program starts with them, so the coaching and the board fit how you really operate, not a one-size-fits-all approach. And the value goes beyond you: once you can read how other people are wired, owners use it to work better with their teams, their clients — sometimes even their spouse.

Are the programs in person or virtual? +

It depends on the program. Most boards meet in person here in Northwest Arkansas, and some formats are available virtually. We'll cover exactly what your program looks like on the fit call.

How are these different from a mastermind or a networking group? +

Masterminds and networking groups are usually informal and unfacilitated — great for contacts, but no structure, no accountability, and no one holding you to what you said you'd do. These are facilitated programs with a real plan, confidential non-competing peers, and accountability between every session, so you leave with things done, not just discussed.

Can I move up to another program as my business grows? +

Yes — that's the idea. Many owners start where they fit today and step up as the business grows: the Accelerator's foundation leads into a full peer board, and a manager who's grown through HI-MAP can move toward the Key Executive Board. You pick for now, not forever, and there's always a next step. And while there's never a contract, most owners simply stay — the average member is with us about five years, and some for over thirty, because the value keeps compounding.

What happens on the fit call? +

A short, no-pressure conversation — usually about 30 minutes — about where your business is and what's on your mind. No pitch. We'll work out together which program fits, whether now is even the right time, and if none of them is the right answer for you, we'll say so and point you somewhere useful.

Is what we discuss confidential? +

Yes. The boards are made up of non-competing owners, and what's said in the room stays in the room — that confidentiality is exactly what lets people be honest about the things they can't say to their team or bring home. Your one-on-one coaching conversations are private too.

What if I'm not sure which one fits? +

That's exactly what the fit call is for. Use the selector at the top to see your closest match, then book a short, no-pressure conversation — we'll help you find the right room, and if it's not TAB yet, we'll tell you.

Not sure which room is yours?

That's exactly the conversation to have. Tell me where you are and what's on your mind — we'll figure out the right fit together, or whether now's even the time.
